While the news from Egypt are both encouraging and horrifying, it's hard to get in touch with people within the country. Internetaccess, phonelines, tv - all this is target for egyptian attempts to censor and block information. So gegenglueck - worrying about friends who where online at least yesterday - spreads some ressources / hints. Maybe it helps.

UPDATE: War ja klar, da sagt mal jemand ehrlich, wie es ist, und schwups wird der Originalbeitrag vom öffentlich-schlechten Dummfunk offline genommen. Gut, dass das Internet nichts vergisst.

Seit langer Zeit ist Herr Wagner mit seinem Blog "Die Rückseite der Reeperbahn" in der Sparte "Unterhaltung mit Lokalkolorit" meines Feedreaders einer der Einträge, die selten ungelesen blieben. Leider hat der gute Mann nun seinen Feed verkrüppelt, um (wie hier ein Kommentar erklärt) die Leser direkt auf seine Seite zu zwingen. Vielleicht um Werbung einzublenden, vielleicht um Schnüffelskripte zu benutzen, ich weiß es nicht, es ist mir auch egal - und es wäre ohnehin geblockt. Ich will Volltextfeeds und mit ganze wenigen Ausnahmen fliegen Krüppelfeeds konsequent aus dem Reader. Das hilft auch, die Anzahl überschaubar zu halten.
